Meet Your Coach
Hi, I’m Sarafina—a Registered Nurse, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, and founder of Commit to Fit Run Club. I help women improve their health through realistic fitness, nutrition, and lifestyle habits that fit their busy lives. My goal is to help you feel strong, confident, and empowered while creating results that are sustainable for the long haul.
My Story
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central Connecticut State University and have always been passionate about helping others improve their health, confidence, and quality of life. Through my experience as a registered nurse, I've seen firsthand how daily habits—including nutrition, movement, sleep, stress management, and mindset—play a critical role in long-term health and overall well-being.
While healthcare often focuses on treating illness, I became increasingly interested in helping people take a proactive approach to their health. That passion led me to become a NASM Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and continue expanding my education through advanced fitness and nutrition coaching certifications.
My coaching approach combines evidence-based health education with realistic, sustainable lifestyle strategies. I believe lasting results come from understanding the root cause of challenges rather than relying on restrictive diets, extreme workout programs, or quick fixes. Together, we'll focus on building habits that fit your lifestyle and support your goals long after a program ends.
As both a nurse and coach, I understand that health isn't one-size-fits-all. Whether you're looking to lose body fat, build strength, improve your nutrition, train for a race, increase your energy, or simply feel more confident in your body, my goal is to help you create a balanced approach that feels achievable and enjoyable.
I also founded Commit to Fit Run Club, an all-women's running community built around connection, confidence, and movement. Through coaching and community, my mission is to help women discover that fitness doesn't have to be all-or-nothing—it can be something that enhances your life, supports your health, and empowers you to become the strongest version of yourself.
I'm here to provide guidance, accountability, and support every step of the way so you can build healthy habits that last for years to come.
